Chisiwalk

11 km walk, you need running shoes, not slippers.

Felt a bit uncomfortable with this outfit (the shoes) but hey, better walking and less hurting feet.

As a kid grown up at a forestry college, I wondered what had killed these trees. I don't know about the diseases trees can get here in the subtropics. Insects?

Ants' ventilation holes (the piles).

Look at all this red!

The guys (or a guy sitting there next to a brick pile) were fixing the road and asking money from people passing by. Very common here.

Want a shower while walking? Here was 3 sprinklers, takes some skills to pass by dry. They even reached the drive way so not much help of escaping on that side!

Vendors selling clothes, which come in pales from Europe, Australia and USA mainly.

The other half of the Chisipite Shopping Centre.

If you a rich enough, you can party with this 4.5 l vodka bottle.  (It's USD)

Another shower for the way back home. This is dry season for you.

Here in Zim we have a saying that if you a driving straight you are drunk, and if you a driving zigzag you are sober. And this is the explanation: the potholes.

Counting out the cold nights, I just love the dry grass and leaves of the dry season/winter and walking on them. <3

This one was looking for her/his (probably her) home. Mailed it on Zim Pets lost and found in Facebook, the best would have been to take her to the closest vet's office, but I was on foot and this one was a bit too shy to even come close to me when I tried to talk her nicely and approach easily. Hope she finds home before night! This road is even dangerous for a roaming dog as it's been renewed lately and people are speeding and overtaking too much on it since they know there are no potholes on it.

River of life-church

Morning was cold and not my thing.

And garbage truck been missing for a while.

At the church. Dustine is the friend of mine who took me there and was the other speaker.

The sun was pointing so nicely on Zimbabwe.

Viola, the first speaker

This had happened in May. Would have been interesting.

The song Viola played at the end of her speech.

I was holding a paper with my friend's workplace's busstop's name, he would need help too and I hoped I could pass some for him too.

Got something to eat and drink too, especially hot drinks now in the cold season.

Dustine finishing her speech.

Some song words

Ya, the name of the busstop in shona, this is why I have to carry it in my handbag with me, a bit hard for me to remember as I don't know what it means.

The guitar players. Liked them a lot.

Dustine talking. She had a powerful speech.

On the wall.

We got some cupcakes too.

And you were supposed to be told by someone else what that cupcake tells to you.

Back in Kamfinsa, hubby's office. He's the one with green and yellow hat.

Garbage truck missing at their office too.

The African Apostolic Church is usually gathering outdoors.

In the afternoon it was hot.

I love this tree, waiting for October already (yacaranda).
